Tourist & Museum Railways in
Buckingham Branch Railroad #1, an EMD GP7 built in
1951 for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad,
propels the James River Rambler over the James River
- Busch Gardens Railway in Busch Gardens, Williamsburg,
is a 3ft (914 mm) gauge steam hauled railway 2½ miles (4 km) in length.
Park is open weekends and some weekdays throughout the year, daily
from mid May to August and in December.
- James River Rambler Dillwyn to New Canton, about
16 miles (26 km) on the tracks of Buckingham Branch. Standard gauge,
diesel hauled. Operates occasionally on various dates during the year,
and by private charter.
