Scenic Railway Stearns to Blue Heron, about 7 miles (11 km),
standard gauge. An extension to Worley is
under construction, and a further extension to Oz is proposed. Diesel
hauled, although a steam locomotive is in the course of restoration.
Operates Thursdays to Saturdays in April, Wednesdays to Sundays May
to September, Tuesdays to Sundays in October, and for special events
at other times
- Bluegrass Scenic
Railroad Versailles to Milner, about 3 miles (5 km), standard gauge.
Diesel hauled. Operates weekends from May to October, Saturdays only
in April. Train is available for private charter at other times
Railway Museum New Haven to Boston. Usually diesel hauled,
although a steam locomotive may operate at certain times. Operates
weekends from April to mid December, also Tuesdays and Fridays in
summer, and Fridays in December. During the summer passengers may
board at either terminus. Dining trains and other special events
operate at certain times
Steam Heritage Corporation currently offering short steam
hauled journeys on certain days within their site at Ravenna,
plans for longer and more regular services in the future.
Old Kentucky Dinner Train inclusive dining trains, Bardstown to
Bardstown Junction, about 20 miles (32 km) on the tracks of
R J Corman. Diesel hauled. Operates most Saturdays, many
Fridays and some other days throughout the year.
